When dense fog reduces visibility to the designed threshold or road surface illumination is insufficient at night, the guidance system is activated: yellow guide lights on both sides of the entire road section illuminate with a slow flash, so as to indicate the complete road alignment with high contrast in low‑visibility environments.
When a vehicle passes the sensor installation position, the sensor set at this position will be activated, triggering the red warning lights on both sides of the road section about 100 meters behind this position to flash slowly at the same time.
As the vehicle travels, it continuously activates the sensors arranged at intervals of 20‑40 meters along the route, making the moving vehicle have a red trail of about 100 meters, so as to indicate the relative position and moving speed of the vehicle ahead, and remind the following drivers to maintain a safe distance.
Once the vehicle is detected to be stationary, the sensor immediately triggers an alarm: the red warning lights on both sides of the road section about 100 meters behind this position flash rapidly / a high‑decibel alarm sounds at the same time, warning all vehicles to brake immediately.
