The proximity switch is vertically installed on the outer shell of the coffee pot. The magnet is installed inside the water pipe and can move up and down with the change of water level. When the water level is very low and close to the proximity switch, the magnet will trigger the bimetallic switch inside the proximity switch, causing the spring to close, thereby sending a water level alarm signal to automatically shut off the coffee pot to ensure safety.
